Margaret Tucker's Suite in A (subtitled Suite Charlotte) was commissioned in memory of handbell director Charlotte Williamson, known to many of her friends as "Char." The four letters of her name serve as the opening notes in each of the three movements of the suite. The movements are entitled Chorale and Prelude, Sicilienne, and Polonaise.
