Two hymn tunes are combined into a moving and glorious arrangement for Lent, Holy Week or Easter. The "Passion Chorale" is presented in a gentle and flowing manner, using an LV bass accompaniment. Optional handchimes in the bass and middle ranges then play J.S. Bach harmonization with lightly malleted eighth notes in the upper treble bells. A transition using both tunes grows into a brilliant fanfare, leading into a majestic, triumphant playing of "Crown Him with Many Crowns," with the fanfare returning to conclude the work.
