CGB407 Hydom, Hydom (Handbell)

"Hydom, Hydom (Shepherds Watch Their Flocks by Night)", an exciting arrangement of the traditional Czech carol, employs numerous handbell techniques: martellato, pluck/mallet, mart lifts, ring, LV, and mallets on suspended bells. A lyrical middle section provides contrast to the vigorous opening and closing sections. Intended to stand alone as a handbell piece, it can also serve as the accompaniment to the unison anthem by Tom Mitchell (CGA787).
