Music Sample: CGB1158 Africa - Sheet Music Sample

This arrangement of "Africa" begins with the body percussion sounds that are reminiscent of a rain storm, and are beautifully illustrated by Perpetuum Jazzile's rendition of "Africa" that may be found on YouTube.

Other layers of percussion instruments are added to various combinations of bells and chimes as the song progresses for a rousing rendition of this 1982 hit by Toto that reached #1 on Billboard's Hot 100 in 1983.

Voicing: 5, 6 or 7 octaves handbells with 5, 6 or 7 octaves handchimes, percussion, and optional 2 octaves Petit & FritsenTM handbells

Composer: David Patch and Jeff Porcaro, arr. Roger Emerson

Arranger: Handbell arrangement Carol Lynn Mizell

Season: General

Series name: Master Ringer series
