Vicki Hancock Wright

Vicki Hancock Wright received her Bachelor of Music in theory and composition from the University of Tennessee. She served as Children’s Music Editor at the Baptist Sunday School Board (now LifeWay) for nine years, leaving to become a full-time mom, but continuing free-lance work. She has published works with Choristers Guild, Beckenhorst and LifeWay. She has served as a children’s choir director in churches for over 30 years, and recently served as organist at First Baptist Church, Nashville. Vicki is currently teaching K-4 classroom music and directing the 5th/6th grade choir at The Oak Hill School in Nashville. She and husband Alan (a lawyer and non-musician) are the parents of two daughters and one son, all in their mid-twenties.
