Kathleen Hart Brumm

 

Kathleen Hart Brumm (b. 1958) holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Westminster Choir College, 1983. Following several years as a church musician in New Jersey, she pursued a Master of Divinity degree from New Brunswick Theological Seminary, which she earned cum laude in 1992. Ordained in the Reformed Church in America, she has served parishes in eastern New York as both pastor and musician.

Choristers Guild and CRC Publications publish her music. A number of articles on music and liturgy can be found in The Chorister, The Hymn (the journal of the Hymn Society in the United States and Canada), and Reformed Worship, a quarterly publication of the Christian Reformed Church. She lives in Rensselaer, New York with her husband James and son, Christopher.
