Description

Champions of Faith from Growing in Grace Children's Music offers two 15-week units based on Hebrews 12:1-2 for three age groups: Preschool (ages 3-5), Younger Children (grades 1-3), and Older Children (grades 4-6). Through songs and musical activities, children will experience the rich spiritual legacy of eight Bible champions -- Joseph, Deborah, Samuel, David, Daniel, Esther, Mary and Martha, and Barnabas -- whose lives of obedience provide worthy examples to follow. These champions of faith will encourage children to lay aside distractions and run a faithful race with steady determination as they keep their eyes on Jesus. Each semester's unit includes songs, hymns, demonstration and accompaniment recordings, KIDPages, Song Teaching Steps, small- and large-group teaching activities, and colorful visuals. Preschool and Younger Children units include step-by-step rehearsal plans. Older Children units include session plan outlines.
