Peace is the theme of this meditative setting of the hymn tune Quebec. Many options are available, as groups may choose to present this as a stand-alone bell piece or to enhance it with the addition of a flute and/or a solo singer or SATB voices. The inclusion of two different texts adds to the flexibility. Techniques included are mallets or thumb damps and LV. With only a few bell changes, developing choirs will be able to prepare the piece with limited rehearsal time. Using the primary text, the arrangement will be especially appropriate for services of peace.
