CGB247 Festive Variations (2 or 3 octaves)

Suitable for festival or worship settings, this piece introduces an original theme followed by five variations that employ numerous ringing techniques including ring touch, echo, martellato, as well as a whole variation played with mallets. Changing mode and changing meter also add to the interest and teaching possibilities with this piece. This set of variations will become a favorite of both children and youth bell choirs as well as beginning adult groups. (An edition for 4-5 octaves is also available, code CGB256.)
