Description

This reproducible collection for 8, 10, or 12 handbells or handchimes and piano will give smaller groups opportunities to play during the Advent and Christmas season. Included are "In the Bleak Midwinter" (CRANHAM), "Hark, the Glad Sound" (CHESTERFIELD), "Jesus, Jesus, Rest Your Head" (Appalachian folk carol), "The Angel Gabriel from Heaven Came" (GABRIEL'S MESSAGE),  and "It Came Upon the Midnight Clear" (CAROL). Lv and shaking are the only special techniques used, and shakes should be omitted when playing with handchimes. The arrangements in this accessible, easy to learn, yet full-sounding collection are perfect for worship or concert, and are especially convenient as no tables are needed.
