Description
“Proclamation on St. Thomas” by Karen Buckwalter is a bold, festive arrangement of a familiar hymn tune from the 1700s. It may be found in several hymnals paired with a variety of texts and titles such as: “I Love Thy Kingdom, Lord” and “Let Justice Flow Like Streams.” A joyous fanfare opening, a pulsing, rhythmic accompaniment, and a brief stroll into a minor key all finally lead to a majestic ending. An alternate title, “Proclamation”, has been provided for a concert venue. It is published in compatible editions for 2-3 and 3-5 octaves.
