CGA1815 Will You Light a Candle?
Description
Across cultures and across communities, light is a powerful symbol of togetherness and strength. We light candles amid the dark to symbolize our commitment to one another at vigils and during seasonal celebrations. This anthem invites us to cultivate hope, peace, joy, and love for the good of all. It is suitable for community, school, and church settings, with the option to feature soloists or small ensembles as well as a sung community response (with a reproducible community page provided). Churches can use this anthem for Advent candlelighting, as it features optional starting points for each week of the Advent season. A memorable musical experience for all ages and all abilities.
