Description

This workshop is an opportunity to spend quality time and learn from John Yarrington who is well known for his work with both church and school choirs and is a frequently sought after clinician and speaker. 
 
Dr. Yarrington is a retired professor of choral music at the Houston Baptist University.
He is conductor of the First Presbyterian Chancel Choir, Music Director for Gilbert and Sullivan productions, and adjunct professor of conducting at the University of St. Thomas.

- A resident choir will allow individual conducting with coaching.
- Sessions will focus on effective gesture and score study.
- CEU credits are available upon request.

Participation fee of $300 includes music packet which will include all music used in the sessions plus Dr. Yarrington’s book, Have We Had This Conversation. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
