Year I, II, or III Pricing: 4 nights housing ($250) / full meal plan ($160) / program fee & nonrefundable deposit ($725) = $1,135
Alumni Pricing (CGI Certified Directors of Young Singers, have previously completed Year III): 4 nights housing ($250) / full meal plan ($160) / Alumni program fee & nonrefundable deposit ($450) = $860
Required books and travel expenses are not included in these totals. Please remember that you'll also need to add $78 for a Choristers Guild membership if you or your church does not currently have an active Choristers Guild membership.
If you or your church are not a current member of Choristers Guild when you register, a $78 classic membership will be added to your registration by our customer service representative when your registraion is processed.
A number of partial scholarships (amounts vary, but are generally between $200 and $500) are available for attendees at the Choristers Guild Institute. Visit the Choristers Guild Scholarship Page for more information.
Meals and Lodging
2018 Institute Participants will stay in 4-bedroom/2-bath (private bedroom) with shared living room apartment-style housing on the Wingate University campus. The 4-Night lodging package cost is $250 for the 2018 Institute. Each bedroom contains a full-sized bed. Each apartment contains a washer and dryer and has a kitchen area with a refrigerator, oven/stove, and a microwave oven.
Linens (sheets, blanket, towels, bed pillow) are not included. Towels and a pillow are available for an additional $15 fee for those traveling by air. Everyone (driving or flying) needs to bring regular full-sized sheets and a blanket.
Meals will be taken in the Wingate University cafeteria, with the exception of the catered Helen Kemp Dinner and lecture event. Because conversation and interaction at meals is an integral part of the Institute experience, participants must purchase the full meal plan, consisting of Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner beginning with Monday dinner and concluding with Friday lunch) for $160. Wednesday dinner is not included, as that night is an off-campus evening; participants may choose to eat at local restaurants that evening. The Helen Kemp Banquet, a catered event, will take place on Thursday evening; the cost of the Helen Kemp Banquet is included in the Full Meal Plan cost.
Additional guests wishing to purchase tickets for the Helen Kemp Banquet and Lecture may do so for a cost of $35 each. Please contact the Institute registrar at email@example.com to make arrangements.
