James is the director of worship + arts at Brentwood United Methodist Church near Nashville, TN, where he has led music ministries and directed choirs of all ages for over 27 years. James is also the artistic director of the Nashville Children’s Choir of Belmont University, nurturing young voices from grades 3–12. James holds degrees in vocal performance and music education from Middle Tennessee State University and Belmont University.
