Travis L. Boyd


Travis L. Boyd (b. 1955) is a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas.

He served as a school band director for 4 years prior to being called into full time music ministry. As a Minister of Worship and Music for the past 30 years, Travis has enjoyed leading people in worship and directing church choirs and orchestras. He currently serves at the First Baptist Church of Duluth, Georgia. Travis and his wife, Cindy, have one daughter and six sons.

His published anthems are available through the Lorenz Corporation, Lifeway Publications, and Shawnee Press, in addition to Choristers Guild.

Travis has an eclectic music background in performance styles, including classical, baroque, romantic, contemporary, jazz, traditional hymns, rock and roll, pop, ragtime, and he even played tuba in a polka band. He loves golf, the Atlanta Braves, and the OU Sooners.
