Sondra K. Tucker is Director of Music/Organist at Christ Church Presbyterian in Bellaire, Texas. She was born in 1957 in Blytheville, Arkansas and has served churches in Memphis and Bartlett, Tennessee, before moving to Texas where she was at Chapelwood United Methodist Church in Houston, from 2002-2007. Sondra holds a BSE from the University of Arkansas and a Master of Music from the University of Memphis. Her compositions include music written for organ, flute ensemble, choral and handbell. AGO recognition includes AAGO and Choir Master. Among Sondra's hobbies are travel, swimming, knitting, music and reading. She is married and has two children. (7/5/2007) |
