Lois Trego began her work for Choristers Guild in September of 2005. Lois brings a wealth of children's choir leadership experience serving as Director of Children's Music at St. John the Divine Episcopal Church in Houston, Texas since 1991 where she directs Chichester, Coventry and Canterbury Choirs. She has led her choristers on three pilgrimages to Canterbury Cathedral. She holds a Master of Music degree from Boston University School for the Arts and a Bachelor of Music degree from Gordon College. She is certified in Kindermusik (with Lorna Lutz Heyge) and Orff Schulwerk and has attended regular workshop and continuing education workshops and courses led by Helen Kemp, Shirley McRae, Henry Leck, Sue Ellen Page and Anton Armstrong. Through her own children's choir work, Lois became keenly aware of the need and importance for good visual communication to support her work in the church. As a graphic artist, Lois has developed her own business called graphica designs which specializes in ecclesiastical art and communication. She serves as the Graphic Designer for Choristers Guild including the design and layout design of The Chorister.
