Larry E. Schultz is the Minister of Music at Pullen Memorial Baptist Church, Raleigh North Carolina. Prior to this position, Larry served churches in Oklahoma, Kentucky and South Carolina. Larry received the Bachelor of Music degree in Theory and Composition from Oklahoma Baptist University and the Master of Church Music degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition to his full time church ministry, Larry is an active composer and hymn writer. His published works include sacred and secular choral anthems for children, youth and adults, two children's musicals, and a variety of other vocal and instrumental worship music including a tune in the Brian Wren hymn collection, Christ Our Hope (Hope Publishing, 2004). In 2003, his hymn text and tune, Where Ocean Meets the Rocky Coast, was declared winner of a hymn search celebrating the 275th Anniversary of First Congregational Church, Scarborough, Maine. A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Larry now resides in Knightdale, North Carolina, with his wife, Cindy, and their children, Ryan and Kelly.
