John began his education at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, and graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he studied organ and harpsichord with Dr. John Chappell Stowe. He has performed with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, the Concord Chamber Orchestra, many local choirs and provided organ music for the PBS documentary, A City of Steeples. His seven psalm settings have been published by Augsburg-Fortress Publishing House. He has led many sessions and workshops in creative church music and hymnody. In his spare time he works on rehabbing his 1914 house and enjoying his dog Chester. |
