Michael Jothen is Professor of Music and Graduate Program Director at Towson University, Towson, Maryland. He is a Past-President of the National Board of Directors of Choristers Guild and serves as Music Director of the Senior Choir of St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Baltimore. Since joining the Towson faculty in 1993, Dr. Jothen has continued to be active throughout the United States and Europe as an author, clinician, composer, conductor and educator in the areas of choral and general music. He has coauthored the textbook series "Music and You" and "Share the Music" and earned awards from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers for his contributions to the choral repertoire. Michael Jothen earned his degrees at St. Olaf College, Case-Western Reserve and Ohio State Universities. |
