to the Choristers
Guild Institute at Louisville Seminary where a week-long symposium
will be held each summer.
LEARN
to creatively
integrate young singers into worship, vitalize your rehearsal techniques
and pedagogical skills, energize young singers, sharpen conducting
and choral skills and organize effective music ministries.
IMPLEMENT
the skills gained
through the institute in your choirs annual feedback from the institute
faculty.
MASTER
the core curriculum
and complete three summer sessions to receive Choristers Guild Institute
Certification.
WHO
SHOULD ATTEND?
The Institute
is designed for Directors who are currently leading young singers,
K-8, in a Christian church or school setting and those preparing
to be full-time, part-time, or committed volunteer leaders in these
settings.
A degree in
music is not required, but musical literacy is fundamental to success
as a participant in the Choristers Guild Institute.
LEADERSHIP
A distinguished
group of faculty will lead courses on a variety of topics throughout
the week. You will not want to miss personalized study with this
group of scholars including Anton Armstrong, Michael Hawn, Madeline
Bridges, Rebecca Thompson, Heather Potter, Amanda Smith, Andrea
Baxter, Chris Nemec, Karol Kimmell, and Jennifer Davidson. More
