How could a Choristers Guild membership help my church?
If you are a choir director that would benefit from being part of a network of over 4,000 other choir directors around the world, you may want to consider becoming a member of Choristers Guild.  Additionally, our bi-annual choral packets provide a pre-selected list of music that you can use to prepare for the upcoming season.  This membership is helpful in providing direction for new choir directors and for giving tips to the "seasoned veteran" choral director.

I am not able to log-in the the members only area, can you help me get in?
Click on the "Member Log-In" tab at the top of the screen and enter your username and password.  All members were emailed a username and password when the new website was launched in December 2010.  If you cannot remember your username or password, please click on the "forgot password?" link under the username field in the "Member Log-In" tab.  You will be emailed a username and password after you submit your request.  Please allow up to 1 hour for your password to be retrieved and emailed.  If you have additional questions regarding log-in, please contact the Choristers Guild office at 1-800-246-7478.

A handbell subscription includes:
     -Two handbell preview packets per year of newly released Choristers Guild handbell music with recording
     -Free handbell promotional materials from Jeffers Supply Company

Teaching Resources

Where can I find warm-ups for my rehearsals?
Warm-ups can be found in the "Member Area" under "Teaching Resources."  You can also find many articles in The Chorister (our bi-monthly membership publication) that give useful tips on warm-ups.  Members can view archives of The Chorister in the "Member Area" under "The Chorister Article Archives." 
If you are not a member, you can purchase a useful workbook, "Sing Together Children" (CGBK66) for examples of warm-ups for your choir.

Where can I find hymn studies for my choir?
Hymn studies can be found in the "Member Area"under "Teaching Resources," "Hymn Studies."

If I ordered from your website and requested to be billed, why did I get a bill from Lorenz?

Some orders that are placed through our website, are fulfilled by our distributor, Lorenz, while other orders are fulfilled here at Choristers Guild.  If your order includes products that are only fulfilled by Lorenz, you will receive a bill from Lorenz.  If your order includes products that are fulfilled by Lorenz and Choristers Guild, you will receive a bill from Choristers Guild.

Why won't the pictures on your website show up?
Our site is best viewed with versions of Internet Explorer greater than 7.0. Optimal viewing is also possible with Mozilla Firefox versions greater than 2.5 or Google Chrome.  Other browsers or versions may not support the complete functionality of our site.

If you are viewing the site with one of these browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc.) and are experiencing a problem consistently, please email bhehn@mailcg.org so we can explore the problem. We ask that you include as many specifics as possible, including where you were in the site when the error occurred, the steps you took prior to the error, and your operating system 
(Windows, etc.), browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, etc.) and type of internet connection (dial-up, etc.).
 
Why can't I view your sample pages?

You will need the free Adobe Reader to download and view our sample pages. Please visit Adobe’s website to find the correct download for your operating system.  We are still in the process of adding sample pages to some of our pieces.  If you receive the error message, "404 - File or directory not found.  The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable,"- a sample page is not yet available for this piece.

Why can't I listen to your audio samples?
You may not have the audio player that is enabled for the audio files.  All audio files can be played through a QuickTime media player.  If you do not have QuickTime or do not have the latest version, please download the free player.  Also, if you have an old version of your internet browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc.) you may need to download the latest version of your browser.  If you have any additional questions, please call our office at 1-800-246-7478. 

How do I change my member password?
When logged-in to the "Member Area," please click on "My Account" and change your password.

Orders

When will my order ship?
Web orders placed after 12 p.m. EST Monday-Friday will be processed on the next business day. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be processed the following Monday. Larger orders or orders placed during our busiest times may take an additional day.

How can I track the status of my order?
If you selected a trackable method of shipping (UPS) you can track the status of your order by calling customer support, at 1-800-246-7478, ext.231.

How are my shipping charges determined?

That depends on the type of shipping you select during checkout.
USPS shipping charges are based on the total charge for an order. Although the charges for this shipment type are usually less than UPS, there is no insurance for the package and we do not track USPS shipments. All liability for the package is assumed by the customer.
 
UPS Shipping charges are based on the weights of your items plus handling fees and are calculated through the UPS website. All boxes are insured up to $100 automatically and come with tracking numbers.


What is "Standard" shipping?
If you selected "Standard" shipping, your order will arrive within 7-10 business days.

Can I pay for my order with my debit card?
Yes, it is the same process as paying with a credit card.

Can I return some of my music if I ordered too many?
Many of our products can be returned for credit if they are in saleable condition.  Please view our return policy for more information.
