Choristers
Guild Chapters are an integral part of the International Organization
of Choristers Guild and offer opportunities for directors of children's
and youth with geographical areas to share in events and leadership
opportunities.
To become a
member of a Choristers Guild Chapter, it is required that the person,
church or school be a member of the international organization.
This page offers
information on how to form a Choristers Guild Chapter, who to contact
about forming a Choristers Guild Chapter and existing Choristers
Guild Chapters in the United States.

HOW DO YOU FORM A
CHAPTER?
- If you have ten (10) active international members of
Choristers Guild, contact the Chapter Coordinator.
- Plan a special organizational event: luncheon, coffee,
reading session, etc.
- Contact all church musicians in your community to publicize
the event.
HOW DO YOU OBTAIN
A CHARTER FOR A CHAPTER?
Under the Bylaws of
Choristers Guild, each local chapter MUST be chartered. Each new chapter
will receive a charter at the scheduled charter event.
Each chapter member
or member's church/school MUST be an international member of Choristers
Guild.
Set time and place of
event for charter presentation and officer installation service.
Request charter and
clear date in writing with the international office.
Arrange for presentation
of charter and installation of officers by official representative
of the international Choristers Guild. The chapter may suggest a
person, who may also serve as a resource leader, for a festival
or workshop at the chartering event. |
